요약

최근 전산화단층촬영(CT)의 기술적 발전이 거듭되고 CT의 보급율이 확대되면서 이비인후 과 영역에서의 CT의 이용은 이미 많은 질환에 서 표준검사로 정착되었으며, 자기공명영상 (MR)의 해상력이 좋아지고 영상획득시간이 단축됨에 따라 MR도 이비인후과 영역에서 점 차 이용빈도가 늘어나고 있다. 여기에서는 이 비인후과 전문의와 전공의들에게 도움이 되기 를 바라면서 CT와 MR의 기본원리 및 각각의 특성을 기술하고, 이비인후과 영역의 각종 질 환에서 CT와 MR 중 어느 검사를 먼저 시행 하는 것이 바람직하나 하는 문제와 최신발전 동향 둥을 간략히 다루고자 한다.
