ABSTRACT
External auditory canal cholesteatoma is an uncommon otologic entity and its incidence is less than 0.5% of new otologic patients.
External auditory canal cholesteatoma is characterized by an invasion and erosion of squamous epithelial tissue into localized area in bony ear canal. Clinically, it presents as otorrhea and chronic dull pain.
Recently, authors experienced a case of external auditory canal cholesteatoma in 51 years old female who had about one year history of otorrhea and dull pain. We report this case with the review of literatures.
