요약
난청은 사회적 고립, 불안 장애, 우울증, 인지 장애 등 을 야기할 수 있어 환자의 삶의 질에 크게 영향을 미치는 중요한 만성 질환이다.1) 2015년 World Health Organization 조사에 따르면 전 세계적으로 약 3억 6천만 명이 난청으로 장애를 겪고 있는 것으로 보고되었고,2) 국내 에서도 고령화 사회에 접어듦에 따라 난청으로 진료받 는 환자가 매년 늘어나고 있으며(2012~2017년, 건강보 험공단 자료 기준, 연 4.8%) 이에 따라 청각 재활의 필요 성 또한 중요해지고 있다.
