요약

자가면역질환은 자신의 장기 혹은 조직에 대한 비정 상적인 면역반응의 결과로 질환이 초래된 상태를 의미하 며 신체의 모던 장기에 발생 가능하다. 장기 별 발병률은 높지 않지만 전체적으로는 심장질환，종양 다음의 3대 질 환으로 분류되고 있다.¹⁾내이 질환을 포함하여 이비인후 과 영역에서 발생하는 많은 질환들의 병인 (pathogenesis) 과 경과 (natural course) 에 면역반응이 중요한 역할을 수 행함이 알려지면서 이과학 (otology)에서도 이전까지는 다소 생소하였던 이면역학(Oto-immunology) 분야의 영 역과 연구들이 활발히 진행되고 있다 (Table 1).
