요약

일시적 혹은 영구적인 수술적 교정을 결정하기 위해 서 후두 마비의 원인과 기능 회복에 대한 예후가 고려되 어야 하며 많은 임상 경험에서 볼 때 예후는 임상적인 정보들에 의해서 어느 정도 예측할 수 있다. 반회 후두 신경이 보존된 전갑상선 절제술 후의 후두 마비는 회복 될 가능성이 많고 일시적인 시술들에 의해서 치료될 수 있으나 이에 반해서 악성 종양에 의한 미주 신경이나 반 회 후두 신경의 침습에 의한 마비는 저절로 회복될 가능 성은 거의 없으며, 보다 정확한 시술에 의해서 치료되어 야 한다.
